What happens on the day?
Upon meeting at Flamingo Land’s main reception, you will receive a health and safety briefing from the member of staff who will be accompanying you for the day. You’ll then go behind the scenes to experience close contact with their wonderful array of animals.
The morning is spent in the farm, walking the ducks, feeding and cleaning the goats, sheep and cows. You’ll break for a quick rest before heading to the South American and Australasian areas, to feed and clean the giraffes, hippos and perhaps the rhinos. Lunch is generally between 13.30 and 14.00. After this you’ll head into the lemur exhibit to feed the lemurs and then the meerkats before visiting the big cats. During your day you will also have the chance to handle some reptiles and feed the penguins.
Please note all the above is subject to occasional change.
