An excellent experience! The most amazing gift from work colleagues on my leaving day. The day itself will be treasured. It was easy book the afternoon tea and check opening times for Kensington Palace. The voucher was swiftly exchanged for admission tickets at Kensington Palace. The very interesting exhibits ensured we were entertained for over 2 and a half hours. The royal garden was a superb venue for afternoon tea and we were treated like royalty. Fantastic service of a very tasty tea. The staff were aware of my intolerance to tomatoes and adjusted my sandwich assortment accordingly.

The was a very enjoyable experience. the only comment I would make was the fact we told the door staff that we had a voucher for tea in the orangery but no one thought to tell us that It would be closed due to a private function. We did make it for tea although slightly rushed.

The experience was great - especially the tea! Disappointed in Kensington Palace, we have been to many castles and palaces etc but we won't come here again!

Kensington Palace is what it is, an interesting old palace with lots of memories of Queen Victoria but very little to see that is world class. I had never been before and thoroughly enjoyed looking round. As to the afternoon tea, that was good. We deliberately went a bit early (3:15) in case there were queues, but there were none and we were shown straightaway to a table where very helpful staff served an enormous tea on a three level cakestand. Avril had tea and I had coffee, both fine. She suspected the sandwiches might have been frozen but I would never have suspected (and we don't know the answer to that implied question!) The quality of the food was very good, especially the three little cakes. The staff were all helpful and your gift voucher was instantly recognised and accepted! We both agreed it had been an excellent outing (and it only started to drizzle as we were walking up to Bayswater Road to get a taxi!).

    "Great day out"

Me and my best friend had a great day out at Kensington Palace. The scenery around the palace was beautiful and the staff were really informative. The afternoon tea was a perfect end to the day. We got a stand each which was enough to fill us up so that we didn't need dinner!

Four of us has a really delightful day - thought that there may have been more of Princess Diana's dresses. We thought that Kensington Palace looked lovely - Queen Victoria's exhibition was excellent. Tea in Orangery was splendid and the staff were helpful.
