Settle down and strap into the cockpit of a simulated jumbo jet for a flight to and from anywhere in the world with you behind the controls with this 60 minute Motion Flight Simulator on a Boeing 737 or Airbus A320.
You’ll feel like you’re taking to the skies all while staying firmly planted on terra firma, so you’ll be in complete safety from take-off to landing. These simulators were all either owned by airlines for pilot training or formerly actual planes, so you know when you’re getting ready for take-off you’re in one of the finest simulated experiences around.
This experience comes with a choice of aircraft, so you’ll pick between the Boeing 737, one of the best-selling jet commercial airliners ever, and the Airbus A320, with a full glass cockpit and a pioneering set of controls.
- 90 minutes of learning to fly a Boeing 737 or Airbus A320
- Split between 30 minutes of briefing and 60 minutes of flight time
- Strap into a simulator used by real airline pilots and learn from an expert flying professional
- Personalised voucher and message card
We’re working with our experience partners to ensure we’re adhering to government advice as it updates. Please check with the supplier at time of booking for their individual recommendations.
What happens on the day?
Guest pilots are asked to check at least 45 minutes before the actual flight time. Once that is done, you’ll head to the briefing room for an interactive Power Point briefing which describes the basic principles of flight; the flight controls used to fly the aircraft and then the instruments that are needed to find your way from A to B. Once that is completed, your professional pilot instructor will collect you to board your aircraft for the flight of your life.
In your simulator session you can choose to hand-fly the aircraft or be shown how to control it using the autopilot and complete a take-off and landing from and at almost anywhere in the world.
- Minimum age: 14
- Minimum height: 5ft
- Wheelchair access is available on the Boeing 747
- The Boeing 737 can accommodate up to 2 spectators and the Airbus A320 up to 4. Spectators are charged at £10 each and can take part in the briefing and then board the aircraft to watch the fun. Spectators under 14 are not charged but must be accompanied by another paying observer of over 16 years of age (not the pilot)
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary
