You’ll find yourself following in the footsteps of kings and queens as you ascend to the first floor of this amazing building to take your seats in Verdi, the beautiful curved restaurant with lovely views towards the Royal College of Music.
Once seated at your table you and your guest will be served the Queen Victoria afternoon tea – a feast of savoury and sweet delights. First enjoy a selection of freshly cut sandwiches and tasty savouries, before taking your time over scones served with clotted cream and jam, and dainty little desserts including carrot cupcakes with Grand Marnier frosting, strawberry and rhubarb custard tarts, raspberry almond cake with tonka bean meringue and more. Your choice of speciality tea by the East India Company, from black teas and green teas to herbal infusions, will provide the perfect accompaniment, making this an afternoon tea that is guaranteed to impress.

What happens on the day?
On arrival at Verdi, situated on the first floor of the Royal Albert Hall, you and your guest will be served with an assortment of freshly prepared sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, and an assortment of delightful little desserts.
You’ll also be offered a choice of speciality East India Company teas. Sit back and enjoy the beautiful surroundings or imagine Queen Victoria herself taking tea in this very building more than 100 years ago.

Available Tuesday to Sunday from 14.30 to 16.30. Date restrictions may apply.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow approximately 2 hours for the whole experience.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
How it works
All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
