Enjoy the views from the top of the UK’s tallest sculpture and relive the magic of the 2012 Olympics with a family visit; two adults and two children, to the ArcelorMittal Orbit in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The iconic emblem of the Olympic legacy, the ArcelorMittal Orbit stands 114.5m tall, making it the UK’s tallest artwork. It was designed by Anish Kapoor to be an interactive addition to the local landscape with its viewing platform and distinctive concave mirrors that will flip your perspective and turn the horizon on its head.
You’ll travel swiftly to the top in the lift and enjoy amazing views of the Olympic Park itself and London’s ever-changing skyline in the distance. Look out for The Shard, The Gherkin, BT Tower, Big Ben, Canary Wharf, Emirates Airline and the O2 Arena, plus new additions like the Walkie Talkie and the Cheesegrater. Enjoy interactive displays using the latest technology before descending - if you dare - down the 455 steps of the structure, immersing yourself in layers of London sounds as you go.
