Had a wonderful Champagne afternoon tea at The Courthouse Hotel for our Silver wedding anniversary
Everything went exactly to plan and very smoothly. The Vouchers at City Cruises were exchanged for the 24hr Rover ticket with no hassle and we were able to board the first cruise from Greenwich. The sun was shining and everyone onboard was very helpful and friendly.
The Courthouse Hotel gave us a private room for our group of 14 to enjoy an Afternoon Tea together. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The afternoon tea was abundant and very tasty and the tea was free-flowing.
I book 3 of these (6 people) and we were very lucky with the weather. Beautiful cruise down to Greenwich with a very entertaining Ship's crew as guide. He pointed out most of the sites including lots of pubs! We stopped in Greenwich for a pub lunch then cruised back to Westminster. They had the taped cruise guide not so good but another crew member took over from Tower Bridge. Much better,
Half hour to the hotel (walk or public transport) Tea lovely- hotel very close to Carneby Street. Lovely
This was great Value we could hop on and hop off the cruise boat all day as the ticket lasted 24hrs.
The cream Tea was lovely and very well presented, we were not rushed and took our time. The Hotel was very old and really nicely set out.
To get the most out of your gift I would recommend not doing the two on the same day.
A lovely tea and boat ride
