This superb experience entails a delicious afternoon tea with Champagne for two at the splendid Courthouse Hotel in London’s Soho, accompanied by a hop-on/hop-off ticket for two for a Thames River Cruise.
See the capital with as many cruises as you wish during the day. You will embark and disembark from piers at Westminster, London Eye, Tower Bridge and Greenwich. A leisurely Thames River Cruise is a marvellous way to see the sights of the city and a much more enjoyable way of getting form A to B than the busy buses and tubes. Indulge yourself in an afternoon tea complete with a chilled glass of Champagne each when you get to the Courthouse Hotel. Admire the original court room features as you tuck in to finger sandwiches, scones with cream and jam, and mini cakes and pastries. The perfect break from seeing the magnificent sights of London - refuel with this teatime treat.
On arrival at The Courthouse Hotel you will be greeted by a member of the friendly team and will be shown to your pre-booked table. You will be offered the afternoon tea menu and will be presented with a glass of chilled champagne to enjoy.
Your afternoon tea should include a selection of fine teas, a choice of finger sandwiches and of course scones with cream and jam along with a few cakes.
For your unlimited day of river cruising, you must take your voucher along to the City Cruises ticket office at Westminster, Tower or Greenwich piers on the day you wish to take the cruise and exchange it with the booking staff for an unlimited River Red Rover ticket. You may embark and disembark from the piers at Westminster, London Eye, Tower and Greenwich, cruising between them as many times as you wish during one day.

Throughly enjoyed this day out. Very easy to arrange and extremely enjoyable! Well worth it!
My husband received voucher for 70th Birthday in April n booked the afternoon tea for 21 June hoping it would be fine. We weren't disappointed as it turned out to be the hottest day for some years. We had a fabulous champagne tea at 1pm with friendly service. The hotel overlooked Carnaby Street. We then went on n the river cruise till 6.30pm. There was a commentary giving lots of useful information. We both enjoyed this superb day out.
Food and drink was delicious
Would defo recommend
River cruise was just as lovely, easy to find, will be going again with the family
We thoroughly enjoyed the tea and the staff were very friendly.
We would definitely go again and recommend it to our friends.
I had champagne afternoon tea and a river cruise with my sister as a birthday gift. We both had a fantastic day. We had a few dietary requirements and the restaurant was so accommodating and friendly. The cruise was even better than expected too - the crew gave commentary on the landmarks and were really friendly and a bit cheeky! I would definitely recommend this experience package.
Really enjoyable day out.
Champagne tea was lovely and hotel a great place to see. River Cruise was equally good. Would definitely recommend! 😀
Spent a couple of days in London with good friends and booked this offer, Thames cruise was fabulous as was the afternoon tea at The Courthouse Hotel. Excellent service from both venues and the offer is fabulous.
This was a Christmas gift from our daughter and son- in- law we spread it over two days afternoon tea on the first day followed by a theatre trip.Next day we started at county hall and up to Greenwich where we were able to listen to a concert in the naval chapel. We had a lovely time it coincided with my birthday a great experience .
From start to finish, an excellent day. The tea and service and The Courthouse Hotel was 1st class, as was the river cruise. Will definitely do it again.
Our day was wonderful, not enough words to describe the day.
I waited until May to use the voucher in the hope of good weather but that was not to be! We travelled to Greenwich Cutty Sark by rail and DLR and paid to visit the restored Cutty Sark - Wonderful! We then took the river cruise from Greenwich to Westminster with a detour at London Eye to help another City Cruise vessel in trouble! Then by Jubilee Line to Green Park to the Hilton on Half Moon Street coinsidently met another couple on board heading for the same experience so we joined forces and had a srcumptious tea at the Berry Lounge. Wonderful day inspite of the rain.
We split the experience, enjoying the Thames cruise all day. It was very memorable. Appreciating our wonderful London. The crew of the boat were knowledgeable, helpful and entertaining. Worth every penny - want to go again!
Our champagne lunch was very pleasant, much more than expected and the staff very helpful and polite. The showed us the history of the hotel. Would love to go back again. A really lovely experience.
Caught the ferry at Westminster to Greenwich, spent time there, got off at Tower Bridge for a while, caught ferry back to Westminster, caught Underground to Oxford Circus, had at the Gilton at 5.30pm. We then walked back to Waterloo station and caught the train home. Arrived home at 9.30pm after a very enjoyable day - Thank you
We both had a really good day. The Thames cruise was really good and the high tea was brilliant!
A lovely relaxing, interesting, very enjoyable day on good boat with friendly, informative staff. Followed by and excellent tea served by great staff.
I also bought a voucher for our daughter and her husband (plus baby) and it was lovely getting together for this experience.
We spent approximatly 2 and a half hours cruising on the Thames and was kept informed and entertained by a very amusing and interesting commentary along the route. I enjoyed this trip very much and will use this service again in the summer. We were welcomed to the fine hotel and started our tea with Champagne followed by a selection of sandwiches, cakes, pastries and scones. Overall it was very enjoyable and a lovely day out.
We then made our way to the Courthouse Hotel where we were warmly welcomed and shown to our table which was delightful at the curved window seats and tables. It was no trouble for an extra table to be added for our party of seven. Champagne was then brought to us and a soft drink for our grandson. Our son then proposed a toast to my husband and myself to mark our 50th Wedding Anniversary on that very day, this being one of the reasons that we decided to book the Champagne Tea at the hotel. This was followed by the excellent afternoon tea which our family all enjoyed especially our 8 year old grandson. The river cruise was also very good, we travelled from Waterloo the short distance to the Tower of London, the spring tide on 10th March was explained as being very high. We returned back to Westminister as some of our party needed to get back to Marylebone to get a train home. With regrets we hadn't had more time to travel on down to greenwich on the River cruise who knows, maybe next time!
Gale force winds and rain did not curb our excitement. The crew on the boat were brilliant and entertaining. We enjoyed eels and mash (first time ever) at Greenwich and could have stayed longer but the trains to London had been delayed, so we were later than planned boarding the boat. Afternoon tea was superb (only complaint was the scones had been reheated for too long) Otherwise a magnificent day!
We booked three sets of couples; ourselves, a daughter and husband, and grandson & grandaughter who were all visiting from New Zealand for Christmas and New Year. They wanted to experience London and all it had to offer. We had a wonderful two days! It was an excellent way of seeing the city from the river. We did the afternoon tea the first day and the cruise the second so that 'The river' could take up the full day.
