Ever wanted to try your hand at being a distiller? Live out the dream at the Shakespeare Distillery, where you and a lucky friend can create your own gin, tour the distillery and enjoy tastings to match.
Get the lowdown on all things gin from your entertaining host as they take you through the distillery, showing you the process of creating craft gin. Sample tastings from Shakespeare Distillery’s unique selection, before entering the gin classroom and putting your expertise to the test.
Working at your shared miniature copper still, you’ll choose botanicals and distil your gin, while enjoying three G&Ts each (it’s important to keep the creativity flowing). You’ll take home one 20cl and one 50cl bottle of your own gin, complete with personalised labels and a presentation box.

What happens on the day?
Once you’ve arrived at the Shakespeare Distillery, you’ll begin with a tour of the distillery, learning about the history of gin from your entertaining guide, before sitting down to a tutored tasting of three unique spirits.
Having sampled to satisfaction, the two of you will head through to the Gin School, where you can get to work creating a bespoke gin behind a shared mini copper still. Choose botanicals and get advice on the process from the experts, enjoying G&Ts while you work, before heading home with 20cl and 50cl bottles of your finished product, packaged with your own personalised label to share.

The experience takes place at 15.00 on Sundays and selected Fridays. Exclusions may apply.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow upto 3 hours 30 minutes for the full experience.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

How it works
All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
