Step away from the bustling streets of London and indulge yourself and someone special with Champagne and this Jailhouse Rock Champagne Afternoon Tea for Two at the 5* Courthouse Hotel, Shoreditch.
This Grade II listed building was once a magistrate’s court that saw several people through its doors in its time, like the infamous Kray twins and the writer (and accused Islington Library book thief) Joe Orton. Now it welcomes guests from all over the world into its stylish interior which has retained many of its original features including several of the original holding cells, now named after several London criminals.
Sit back and enjoy a glass of chilled Champagne along with an afternoon tea of savoury sandwiches, pastries, cakes and warm scones themed on the hotel’s jailhouse history. Perfect as a break in sight seeing or shopping or as a treat for a special occasion, this experience with its unique location is a fabulous way to spend an afternoon.
