Get in touch with your inner Robin Hood or Katniss Everdeen from ‘The Hunger Games’, and discover fun and challenges aplenty when you take part in a 1 hour 30 minute Archery Clay Pigeon Shooting experience in a relaxed and friendly setting in Sandy, Bedfordshire. Even complete beginners will be able to develop a good range of new skills and techniques during this inclusive training session, and the experienced archery instructors will tailor their tuition to match your knowledge if you have indeed wielded a bow before. 

Anyone from the age of 8 upwards is welcome and friends or family will be able to come along too and watch from a designated area of safety. You’ll receive a full safety briefing before the archery begins, after which you’ll have unlimited arrows to fire at your targets - under the guidance of the instructor. Enjoy complimentary tea or coffee during your visit and experience a great introduction to archery and the chance to test your target shooting skills.

Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of issue, while government restrictions apply in relation to Covid-19 we are offering free extensions on all experiences so you can take your experience when the time is right.

What happens on the day?

A 1 hour 30 minute session to get to know this challenging sport. 

On arrival you’ll receive a full safety briefing from an experienced archery instructor. Your friends and family are welcome to come along and watch you so long as they remain at a safe distance in the designated spectator area. Your instructor will be on hand throughout to advise you on how to improve your technique and you will have plenty of time to get hands-on with the bow and unlimited arrows to fire. Enjoy complimentary tea and coffee and ensure that you wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear.  

Participant guidelines

  • Minimum age: 8 (under 18’s need parental or guardian consent)
  • Spectators are welcome
  • The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary


This experience is available on selected Tuesdays throughout the year.

We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

Please allow approximately 1 hour 30 minutes for the full experience.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

Please ensure you are familiar with the terms and conditions of the experience.

How it works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
