Great time. V restful experience
We can highly recommend this experience. Upon arrival we were made to feel welcome. We were made aware of what to expect i.e. once the guests had all arrived and the boat had been prepared, we would be called to board the boat. We were offered drinks while we waited and made aware of where to find the bathroom. Once on board the rug was most welcome there was a chill in the wind, we proceed on our cruise and tucked into our delicious afternoon tea. Good food, Lovely company, would do it again.
We had a beautiful afternoon in Oxford cruising up the river Thames. The trip was for 90 minutes long and included an afternoon tea of sandwiches, scones, cakes and a pot of tea. We left from the Folly Bridge and went through the Iffley Lock travelling along the Universary Regatta Course passing Christ Church Meadows, all in all a lovely tranquil boat trip.
I was a little disappointed with the captain of the boat as he didn't explain to the party any parts of the cruise.
Hardly any cream not enough to even use as butter on one scone each, scones over cooked and hard, pastries just small chopped up ones looked like from Tesco’s, two tea bags each of hot water, seating arrangements for us as a table of four squashed with four other random people around one table, boat needs maintaining, for £160 for four it’s not cheap and what you get for the money is disappointing.
