The tour offers you the chance to take an extensive journey through the front of house areas as it prepares for the next amazing performance. Walk the Hall’s stunning auditorium, experience the breathtaking view from the Gallery and enjoy exclusive access to the Royal Retiring Room. Along the way, you’ll learn the heritage and history of how the Hall transitioned from Victorian landmark to Global icon.
The stylish Verdi restaurant serves up authentic Italian-inspired dining in a relaxed setting. Ideal for a spot of lunch with its relaxed atmosphere and warm service, you and your dining partner can tuck into three scrumptious courses, topped off with a glass of wine each.

What happens on the day?
Upon arrival at the Royal Albert Hall, you and your guest will enter through Door 12, exchange your voucher for your tickets at the Box Office and wait at the Tours meeting point to take your pre-booked tour. Once the tour is ready to leave, you’ll begin your journey through this amazing Grade I Listed building, moving through the auditorium, gallery, Royal Retiring Room and all the storied corridors in-between, learning about the Hall’s rich history.
After the tour, you’ll make your way up to the first floor to take your seats in the Verdi restaurant, where you’ll enjoy three delicious courses of Italian-inspired cuisine paired with a glass of wine or soft drink alternative.

Available Tuesday to Sunday with lunch served between 12.00 and 14.00. Date restrictions may apply.

The tour can be taken before or after your lunch but for the best experience, the Royal Albert Hall recommends that you take the tour first.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
You should allow approximately 2 hours to 2 hours 30 minutes for the whole experience.

What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
