Packed full of everything you could possibly need for a hike, follow the clearly marked routes on a map or download the QR code to get a digital route as you head for the hills. Complete with carefully curated booklets containing points of interests, cultural references and transport options, you’re guaranteed to have a unique hiking experience.

We’re working with our experience partners to ensure we’re adhering to government advice as it updates. Please check with the supplier at time of booking for their individual recommendations.


Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of issue, while government restrictions apply in relation to Covid-19 we are offering free extensions on all experiences so you can take your experience when the time is right.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date

What happens on the day?

Once your voucher has been activated, you’ll be able to choose from a selection of 12 different walking routes and receive your experience pack to your doorstep.

Each pack is tailored to a specific route, containing everything you’ll need from a map and guidebook with clear instructions for your route to a carefully curated booklet highlighting points of interests to admire along the way.

Participant guidelines

  • Minimum age: under 16s should not walk alone (there is no minimum age for groups)
  • The walks are not extreme; however, they do require a reasonable standard of fitness and are not wheelchair accessible
  • The experience content and restrictions may vary


The experience is available when you want to take it. The only restriction would be due to closure of recommended pubs and cafes.

Please allow 5 working days for your pack to arrive once your voucher has been activated.

What Locations are there?

Choose from the following:

Down by the River - South Downs, East Sussex 
A longer foray into East Sussex countryside passing historic estates, iconic landscapes and wild swim spots.

Head for the Hills - North Downs, Surrey
This circular hike through the North Downs includes riverside walking, ancient woodland and a secret picnic spot.

The Lost World - Jurassic Coast, Dorset
Explore the Purbeck Hills and enjoy The Jurassic Coast, Corfe Castle and the chance to take the plunge at Kimmeridge Bay.

The Poet’s Stone - South Downs, Hampshire
Literary connections, outstanding views and historic churches. On the shorter side, this Hampshire hike packs in a lot.

Green and Pleasant Land - South Downs, East Sussex
A short, idyllic walk following the best of the South Downs Way, with panoramic views and rolling English hills.

Bound for the Beacon - Chiltern Hills, Hertfordshire
A moderate hike in the Chiltern Hills with breath-taking landscapes, enchanting woodland and a whole array of wildlife.

Conquer the Coast - Seven Sisters, East Sussex
A more challenging hike, beginning with Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters and meandering over Cuckmere Haven.

Just So Sussex - High Weald, Sussex
With traditional old inns, picturesque villages and Rudyard Kipling’s house to enjoy, this is a long hike with lots to see.

Temple of the Winds - Blackdown, Surrey
Charming villages and dramatic landscapes atop Blackdown, explore the scenery that inspired Alfred Lord Tennyson.

The Heart of England - Cotswolds, Gloucestershire
A lovely, circular hike from an historic market town, leading you through stunning Cotswold scenery and hilltop villages.

The Kent Coast - Margate, Kent
A route that takes you along coastal cliff tops and beautiful beach paths all the way to quirky Margate town.

Castle in the Air - South Downs, West Sussex
Stunning scenery and wildlife, as well as a beautiful country town and castle - this Arun Valley hike has something for everyone.
