Review by Mr Gomez
Had a good time. Everything was explained well including safety and the boat trip. The skipper was quite knowledgeable and friendly and we had a good time and would recommend it to our friends.

See the sights of one of the most beautiful cities in the UK with this Spirit of Oxford Riverboat Cruise for Two. You and a friend will board a boat for a magnificent cruise along the Thames, taking in a side of Oxford’s heritage few visitors get to see.
Marvel at famous landmarks such as Christchurch College, Port Meadow and Godstow as you relax onboard the small and comfortable vessel. You’ll see the famous Oxford University boathouses, regatta course, Folly Bridge and Osney Island as you pass through this spectacular city, some of which has hardly changed in hundreds of years. See the locations which have inspired countless great literary icons over the years, including Lewis Carroll and C S Lewis, as well as fascinating plant and bird life along the river. This is truly a unique way to see one of the most famous cities in the world, whether you’re familiar with Oxford or have never been before.
Departing from Oxford’s city centre, you will travel through the city past famous landmarks including Christchurch College and Meadows, the University boathouses and regatta course, the Head of the River and Folly Bridge.
From the river you will take in a side of Oxford's heritage rarely seen by visitors to the city, such as Osney Island and ancient Port Meadow, which are off the tourist trail but represent some of Oxford's most beautiful and intriguing scenery. Port Meadow, a vast area of common land, has remained unspolit since prehistoric times and supports plants and bird-life in abundance.
See the magnificent Godstow – the ultimate destination of Alice Liddell and Lewis Carroll when they followed an identical route whilst creating 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland'. It is also the site of Trout Island, an inspiration for another of Oxford’s literary icons, C S Lewis, and his stories of the land of Narnia.
