What happens on the day?

On arrival at your chosen venue you’ll check in at reception and then take part in a briefing on driving techniques and safety, ensuring that by the time you get behind the wheel you’re ready to go and put the pedal straight to the floor in your chosen vehicle.

With your heart still beating fast you’ll be treated to a high speed passenger ride in a sports saloon from a professional. You will also be treated to a photo of you in your car to take home (please note at some locations this will be in the form of a digital download), and After your driving thrill you’ll be given a certificate as a memento of your amazing day.

Wherever you go you’ll be able to choose an Aston Martin, Audi, Ferrari, Lamborghini or Porsche, and most venues have an Ariel Atom and Nissan GTR (though not all – so please ask when making your booking). 

Participant guidelines

• Minimum age: 17 (under 18s need parental/guardian consent) 
• Minimum height: 5ft
• Maximum height: 6ft 6in (6ft 4in at Anglesey, Honiton, Lochgelly, Lydden Hill, Prestwold Hall, 6ft 5in at Elvington)
• Maximum weight: 20 stone (19 stone at Saffron Walden, 18 stone at Bicester and Wigan)
• International licences accepted. All participants must hold a full driving licence and present the original at the event
• All drivers must have a good understanding of the English language for instruction purposes
• All drivers need to be in reasonable health
• Glasses must be worn if required for driving
• Please note: anyone deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate
• Family, friends and children are welcome to spectate. Viewing is available for spectators. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult
• The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to location
• The centres contracted with us hold public indemnity liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover.
• Some driving operators require customers to complete an Indemnity/Damage waiver form on the day of the experience.  This may state that the driver will be liable for a fixed amount of costs should they damage the vehicle whilst driving.  Most of these suppliers are able to provide Indemnity/Damage Waiver at a small additional fee (usually £20-£45) payable on site.  The purchase of this is optional and is in addition to the Public Liability Insurance held by all venues.  The full details of any indemnity or damage waiver will be provided by the activity operator.  We are unable to advise or comment on the content or suitability of these products.

Availability

Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of issue. It is essential that you book and take your experience before this date. This voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

The experience is available on selected weekdays and weekends from February to November. 

Dates at Lydden Hill, Saint Agnes and Dunsfold Aerodrome have limited availability, so we recommend booking early. 
Please note: a £10 upgrade fee will be charged at Wigan (Driveme.net), Seighford, and Anglesey Circuit if you wish to drive between 11.00 and 15.00
Please note there will be a £30 fee to book at Castle Combe with Supercar Drive Days.
​Please note there will be a £35 fee to book at Dunsfold with Car Chase Heroes.

We recommend you book 10 to 12 weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

Please allow 1 hour 30 minutes (2 to 3 hours at all Car Chase Heroes' venues) for the full experience. Exact duration will vary depending on the number of participants on the day.

How it works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
