Discover the perfect cuppa with a fascinating Tea Blending Workshop for Two with Bird and Blend Tea Co.
Led by the UK’s leading tea mixologist, you’ll start by learning the ins and outs of teas: how they’re made, how they’re best enjoyed and their various health benefits. You’ll sample an array of award-winning teas and get a feel for the flavours before you set about some blending of your own. Create three of your own blends, designed, named and packed by your very hands.
There’s unlimited tea and tea cocktails throughout the workshop to help inspire you. Take home your blends to make delicious tea at home.

What happens on the day?
On arrival at your pre-booked session you’ll meet your expert tea mixologist, who’ll chat to you about the ingredients you’ll be using on the day.
You’ll sample a few of the award-winning blends before creating three of your own signature blends to take home. There’ll be tea and tea cocktails throughout to inspire you as you go.
Participant guidelines
- Min age:14 - under 18's need to be accompanied by a paying adult
- All workshops can be made wheelchair accessible with prior warning
- Accompaniying registered carers do not need a voucher
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary
Availability
The experience runs on selected dates throughout the year and dates may vary across different locations.
There are between 8 and 10 spaces available for each workshop.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow 2 hours 30 minutes for the full experience (including time to browse in the shop) . Please arrive on time as the workshop starts at the advertised time.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

How it works
All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
