What happens on the day?

On, arrival you’ll be greeted by a member of the Thamesjet team and kitted out in waterproof clothing and life jacket. Then it’s all aboard as you are meet your experienced skipper and take a ride on the only public jet boat on the Thames.  Before you board the Thames jet you will receive a short safety brief and be given your waterproofs should the ride get wet. Then you will hold on tight for your 50 minute adventure, full of turns, stops and lots of speed.

After you have your feet back on dry land, you will be able to make your way to one of two fantastic Marco Pierre White restaurants in London. Enjoy a three-course meal for two with a cocktail each on arrival at either the London Steakhouse Co. - Chelsea, or London Steakhouse Co. - City. Both London Steakhouse Co. restaurants hold the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Award 2017, awarded to properties that consistently achieve outstanding reviews on TripAdvisor. The London Steakhouse Co. City is the most recommended Steakhouse in the UK on TripAdvisor.

Side orders are not included with your main and are available at an extra charge. Typical sides might be French Fries, Creamed Potatoes, Crispy Onion Rings or Seasonal Green Vegetables and start at £5.25. Tea and coffee are also available at an extra charge.
Please note: a discretionary service charge of 12.5% will be added to your bill.

Participant guidelines

• Minimum age: Children under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by an adult
• For safety reasons, the minimum height requirement to travel on Thamesjet is 1.35 metres (4 ft 5in)
• The experience is not recommended for people suffering from back or other bone conditions, epilepsy, dizziness, diabetes, angina or heart conditions. Expectant mothers should not travel at any stage of pregnancy
• Passengers are required to advise Thamesjet of any medical conditions or disabilities at the time of booking. Passengers should consider themselves to be sufficiently medically fit to undertake this high speed boat ride and if there is any doubt should seek medical advice before booking
• The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary 

Availability

Your vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issue, kindly note that you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Jet Ride is available October to March Thursday to Sunday and April to September daily. Vouchers cannot be used on  25 December 2017. You must pre-book and take your experience before the voucher expiry date.

Please note: All jet ride bookings are subject to availability and operational changes. There is a set allocation for voucher holders on each date and it is not always possible to fulfil specific date requests.

The meal is available seven days a week
Monday to Thursday: 12.00 to 15.00 for lunch and 17.30 to 22.30 for dinner
Friday and Saturday: 12.00 to 17.15 for lunch and 17.30 to 22.30 for dinner
Sunday: 12.00 to 17.15 for lunch and 17.30 to  22.00 for dinner 
Please note that for Friday and Saturday evening bookings reservations can only be made within 48 hours prior to the experience (availability for dinner on Friday and Saturday is released at 09.00 on Wednesday and Thursday respectively of that week). If you choose to book a Friday or Saturday evening, outside of the 48-hour booking window as advised above, then the voucher will be used against the normal priced a la carte menu and the value taken off your final bill. You will not be able to have the three-course set menu and cocktail.
Some date restrictions, including Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day and Valentines Day will apply and opening times may differ by restaurant.

Please note there is a 48 hour cancellation policy that applies to all meal reservations, after which time you won't be able to amend or cancel a reservation.
Should you prefer to dine from the a la carte menu, £49 will be deducted from your bill.

This is only a guideline and we advise you to book as early as possible to ensure that dates are available before the expiry date listed on your voucher.  All bookings are subject to availability.

Please note that you can take the two parts of your experience on different days but both parts must be pre-booked and taken before the expiry date on your voucher.

Please allow 1 hour 30 minutes for the whole jet boat experience (with 50 minutes for the actual jet boat ride) and 1 hour 45 minutes for the meal.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How it works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
