Join the Ginaissance with a talk and tasting experience for two at Old Poison.

Founded by mixologist Fabrizio Cioffi, Old Poison is Edinburgh’s smallest speakeasy distillery. Built on a foundation of experimentation and experience, the distillery strives to find a truly unique flavour, mixing traditional and modern distilling methods using only the finest herbs, fruits and spices.

The session will kick off with a gin and tonic each on arrival as you delve deeper into the spirit. You’ll enjoy a detailed talk and tasting of the full collection containing seven varieties.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of issue, while government restrictions apply in relation to Covid-19 we are offering free extensions on all experiences so you can take your experience when the time is right.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date

What happens on the day?

On arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed with a gin and tonic each, ready for your gin education to begin. The talented team at the Scottish craft distillery will give you a detailed talk about gin, before giving you the chance to taste the full collection.

Participant guidelines

  • Minimum age: 18
  • The ability to climb stairs is essential 
  • The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary

Availability

This experience is run seven days a week throughout the year. Excluded dates may apply.

We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

Please allow approximately 1 hour for the full experience.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

Please ensure you are familiar with the terms and conditions of the experience.

How it works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
