Indulge in the grand British tradition of afternoon tea. This delightful teatime extravagance has been enjoyed for centuries by dignified society, and has become a fashionable treat that everyone can enjoy. Originally designed to quell that ‘sinking feeling’ that noble ladies experienced between breakfast and supper when it was custom to only take two meals a day. The solution they found was some light snacks and a pot of tea - once a luxury, now an integral part of British culture.

The Traditional Afternoon Tea for Two is available at a range of charming venues across the country and consists of a pleasing array of sandwiches, scones, cakes and of course, tea. The type of sandwiches and cakes may differ per venue but you are sure to enjoy a fantastic selection of fancies whether you choose an elegant manor house in the country or a contemporary city hotel. Share this experience with someone special and enjoy the mouth-watering treats and relaxing atmosphere that your chosen venue has to offer.

"Grovefield"

Nice atmosphere good service but extremely hot in the restaurant which did spoil it for me. The afternoon tea was very nice but the clotted cream was runny and tasted a little cheesy

The couldn't have made it easier for us to visit, the staff were friendly and helpful, the view of the humber bridge and being able to see across humber was wonderful (lovely sunny day when we visited). My only criticism was too much food - all those wonderful sandwiches and scones just had to be eaten! Could have done with bringing a friend to help us eat it all. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

We had a lovely run up to the Cotswolds. The manor was absolutely beautiful with the most fabulous gardens (where we had our tea) and glorious views over the countryside. The staff (mostly young men) were so polite and nothing was too much trouble.
