There are some wonderful items on display here.Good explanations of the influences through the years.

Explore 70 years of the British music scene through Liverpool’s Cunard Building, and take a self-guided tour across galleries, exhibitions and over 600 musical artefacts together.
Opened in March 2017, the British Music Experience is the only place in the world you can wander through the evolution of British music from its 1945 jazz roots through to the present day, taking in collection pieces like Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust costumes, Noel Gallagher’s Union Jack Sheraton guitar, Dusty Springfield’s stage outfits and loads more. Each zone is split by evolutionary steps and offshoots rather than decade, meaning you’ll never be sure what’s round the corner.
You’ll find an area of Gibson guitars for some on-the-spot learning and playing, with drum kits and keyboards too. Dance the Decades, watch some holographic performances and just get generally interactive – it’s time to revel in the soundtrack of our nation’s history!
On arrival at the British Music Experience in Liverpool’s Cunard Building, you’ll check in at reception to pick up your audio guide before heading through the numerous galleries that make up the experience.
You can take as long as you like wandering through the exhibitions and interactive bits, just remember the experience closes eventually!
