Set out on an in-depth tour of one the world’s most renowned sporting grounds and home of the oldest tennis tournament in the world with this Wimbledon Tour for One Adult.
You’ll follow an expert tour guide as they take you round the All England Lawn Tennis Club to experience all of the sights and sounds that make up the home of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships and answer any questions you have about the sport and the famous tournament. See the Centre Court, picnic terraces and the little-known Water Gardens with their fantastic views of London, and access areas that are normally out-of-bounds to the general public, including the Press Interview Room and the Millennium Building.
You can also explore the development of the sport through the displays and exhibits in the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum, discovering how a garden pastime expanded to become a world-wide and multi-million pound sport. There’s interactive touch screens, an array of tennis memorabilia and a 200 degree cinema too, so there’s more than just regular old history on show here. Keep an eye out for the holographic John McEnroe too!
